Anna Margrét has over 20 years experience working in the travel industry, in various positions with Icelandair. She has also experience from the travel company´s that specializing in private customized tours. Anna is a trained tour guide with passion for Iceland. Lives in the heart of Reykjavik and know most of the local restaurant and bars in the area by experience Used to use all the spare time for traveling the world but resent years mostly interested within Iceland.

Personal motto is – live the life to the fullest – you never know what tomorrow brings you.

With over 25 years’ experience working in Iceland’s tourism industry, I am highly regarded by my peers as an industry thought leader. I joined the Ave Travel Iceland team in 2019 and have worked in management positions for Iceland’s most prominent travel companies, airlines, and tour operators. I am well known for being a one-woman powerhouse who achieves ambitious objectives including the launch of the world’s first carbon-free whale watching ship. I am very passionate about Iceland and am an amateur photographer.
